Built from a background of sugarcane farming experience and passion, UMOBA set its sights on delivering a premium service to its customers, never compromising on quality and responsibility in its work. For 20 years, UMOBA has proudly positioned itself as the trusted advisor to Eswatini sugar farms. Starting as a cane loading company, it then progressed into mechanical cane harvesting. UMOBA has since diversified into plant hire, land preparation and sugar cane haulage, providing a comprehensive agricultural service that is adaptable to the ever changing needs of the farming, forestry and construction landscape, to suit our clients needs.

UMOBA now mechanically harvests and hauls 300 000 tons of green, whole trash or burnt sugar cane per annum and now provides wholestick loading and haulage services. Over the past 10 years UMOBA has successfully completed numerous land preparation projects, totaling thousands of hectares while supplying various plant equipment to the construction and forestry industries.

Our highly qualified staff outfit are available to ensure that our machines and operations run smoothly. Our recently renovated workshop has been fully equipped to exact swift repairs of machinery. We have also employed mobile workshops which allow repairs to be done on-site, ensuring minimal down time of equipment, as well as 4x4 field service vehicles to operate in tricky terrain.
